Ceramic is used instead of traditional brass because of its extreme physical stability and resistance to temperature changes, ensuring your microphone sounds identical every time you plug it in. This precision allows any OC16 to be used as part of a matched pair with any other OC16.
Open Acoustics Technology:
Austrian Audio’s patented Open Acoustics design eliminates unwanted internal reflections and standing waves within the microphone body.
