The Interface Between AES67 Studio Infrastructure and All KH Line Monitors

The KH 750 AES67 is the ideal subwoofer for routing audio over IP in an existing AES67 studio infrastructure all the way to the loudspeakers in a redundant and lossless manner. It serves as the vital link between the studio’s digital ST 2110 / AES67 data stream and all KH line monitors. By adding the KH 750 AES67, even non-networked analog Neumann monitors can be integrated into a redundant IP network.
 

This model features newly integrated redundant AES67 audio network ports that are fully compliant with broadcast standards such as ST 2110 and ST 2022-7, while remaining compatible with DANTE®-generated AES67 network streams.

Precision Engineering & Transient Speed:

The ultra-compact wooden cabinet is a closed (sealed) design, which eliminates standing wave resonances and ensures the lowest possible group delay. This results in a "tight" and incredibly fast bass sound, allowing you to hear the precise attack of sub-frequencies. The heart of the unit is a 10-inch long-throw driver featuring ELFF™ technology (Extremely Linear Force Factor™), which provides low harmonic distortion even at high excursions.

DSP-Powered Room Alignment:

In conjunction with the MA 1 - Automatic Monitor Alignment software (Mac/PC), the KH 750 AES67 becomes the brain of your monitoring system. The powerful integrated DSP can calibrate the entire setup—including any analog monitors connected to the subwoofer's outputs—correcting both amplitude and phase to perfectly suit your room’s unique acoustic character.

Comprehensive Bass Management:

The onboard 2.0/0.1 Bass Manager allows for diverse configurations, from extending the bass of a stereo system to reproducing the LFE channel in a multi-channel setup. With four routing modes (Stereo 80 Hz, External, LFE 120 Hz, and LFE Full Range), it offers maximum flexibility for music, broadcast, and post-production.

Digital and Analog Versatility:

The KH 750 AES67 is designed for global professional use. It features electronically balanced XLR analog I/O, as well as a 192 kHz / 24-bit digital input (BNC) that accepts both AES3 and S/PDIF signals. For efficiency, a specialized auto-bypass function reduces power consumption to a mere 0.3 W if no signal is detected for 90 minutes.
