Using the secondary mini-XLR output and the PolarDesigner plug-in, you can change the polar pattern of your recording during the mix phase. This allows you to surgically remove room bleed or adjust the frequency response of the patterns in 255 different positions, a feat impossible with traditional microphones.

• Custom CKR12 Ceramic Capsule: Handmade in Vienna to critical dimensions, this capsule offers the warmth of a vintage classic with modern reliability and lower self-noise (< 9 dB SPL).

• Triple High-Pass Filter: Features selectable settings at 40Hz, 80Hz, and 160Hz to eliminate rumble or handle the proximity effect during close-mic sessions.

Wireless Control & Immersive Audio:

The OC818 can be transformed into a wirelessly controlled microphone via the optional OCR8 Bluetooth dongle.
