Vi-bracer™ Technology and Bass Performance:

The Fluid Audio Image 2 utilizes proprietary Vi-bracer™ technology to manage low frequencies. Two side-mounted 8-inch ultra-long-throw woofers are braced together internally by a rigid rod. This configuration cancels out reaction forces and cabinet vibrations, allowing for "sub-like" bass extension (±4.6dB at 28Hz) that remains tight and transparent even at high volumes.

Advanced Driver and Waveguide Design:

• High Frequencies: A waveguide-mounted AMT (Air Motion Transformer) tweeter provides transparent sound with a fast attack and high efficiency.

• Midrange: A 5-inch aluminum cone driver with a shorting ring reduces harmonic distortion, keeping the critical midrange clear and forward.

• Quad-Amplification: Each driver is powered by its own dedicated Class-D amplifier (225W x 2 for bass, 150W for mid, 75W for high), totaling 675 Watts of headroom.

Direct Sonarworks Integration & 2-in-1 Versatility:

The Image 2 is one of the few monitors that allows you to store Sonarworks SoundID Reference profiles directly on its native DSP. You can measure your room and upload up to four different profiles via USB, ensuring your monitors are always calibrated regardless of the audio source. Additionally, it features a CubeMix mode (activated via an optional footswitch) that switches the speaker to a mid-focused reference, helping you check how your mix will translate to consumer devices like laptops or phones.
