Interchangeable Capsule System:

The defining feature of the LA-120 V2 is its versatility. Each microphone comes with two sets of hand-tuned capsules. Use the Cardioid capsules for a tight, focused sound that rejects off-axis room noise, or swap them for the Omnidirectional capsules to capture a wide, natural stereo field and extended low-frequency response without the proximity effect.

Built-In Analog Tone Shaping:

To minimize the need for post-processing, each microphone is equipped with two independent filters:

• High-Pass Filters (50Hz / 120Hz): Perfect for removing floor vibrations or tightening up the low-end on acoustic instruments.

• Low-Pass Filters (10kHz / 15kHz): Ideal for rolling off the "ice-pick" highs of bright cymbals or taming the string squeak on acoustic guitars, giving you a smoother, more vintage character.

V2 Improvements & Quality Components:
