The MK2 Control CD utilizes Native Instruments' proprietary 2kHz control signal. This high-frequency tone allows the software to track track position and speed with incredible accuracy. This is especially important for DJs who perform fast cuts or rely on the precision of CDJ jog wheels for beatmatching, as it eliminates the "drifting" associated with lower-resolution timecode systems.
Optimized for Performance Features:
This disc is fully optimized to work with all of Traktor's internal features. You can use your CDJ's built-in controls to navigate your Traktor library, set and trigger Hotcues, and engage Beat Loops. The timecode is split into different tracks on the CD to allow for different play modes, such as "Absolute Mode" (which mirrors the physical position of the CD) and "Relative Mode" (which allows for advanced software-based looping).
