• Seamless Connectivity: The AC 31 is designed to connect the Miniature Clip Mic system to bodypack transmitters equipped with a 3.5 mm jack connector. It features a specialized proprietary locking connector on one end for the microphone gooseneck and a locking 3.5 mm TRS male connector on the other, ensuring a secure, fail-safe connection during energetic performances.

• Kevlar-Reinforced Strength: Instrument microphones often face harsh conditions on stage. To address this, the AC 31 is Kevlar-reinforced, providing maximum tensile strength while remaining highly flexible. This construction prevents cable stretching and internal breakage, significantly extending the life of the cable compared to standard alternatives.

• Modular Versatility: As part of the MCM ecosystem, this cable is easily interchangeable. While the AC 31 is optimized for 3.5mm systems (like Sennheiser wireless), the MCM system allows you to swap it out for LEMO, MicroDot, or Mini-XLR 4-pin cables (sold separately) depending on your wireless hardware requirements.

• Wired or Wireless Operation: The AC 31 is not just for wireless packs. It is also the required cable for connecting the MCM system to the Neumann MCM 100 Output Stage (XLR adapter), allowing the microphone to be used as a standard wired condenser mic with 48V phantom power.

• Optimized Handling: With a length of 1.8 meters (5.9 ft), this cable provides ample slack for routing from a mounted instrument (like a violin, cello, or guitar) to a belt-mounted transmitter or a nearby floor-mounted output stage without restricting the performer’s movement.
