The KH 310 A R G (505576) is engineered to be a neutral reference for music production, broadcast, and post-production. Unlike traditional ported monitors, its sealed (acoustic suspension) cabinet eliminates standing wave resonances and ensures a highly accurate, non-hyped low-end. The 3-way architecture allows each driver to handle a specific frequency range with minimal distortion, resulting in a transparent midrange that is essential for judging speech, vocals, and guitars. Combined with the Mathematically Modeled Dispersion™ (MMD™) waveguide, it delivers a wide sweet spot and consistent imaging across any console.

Exceptional Midrange Precision:

At the heart of the KH 310 A is its ultralight 3" fabric dome midrange driver. By handling the critical frequency range where the human ear is most sensitive, it reproduces vocals and acoustic instruments with surgical detail. This dedicated driver reduces the workload on the woofer and tweeter, significantly lowering intermodulation distortion and providing a depth of field that 2-way monitors simply cannot match.

Sealed Cabinet for "Dry" Bass:

The KH 310 A uses a closed-box design, which results in an extremely low group delay. This means the bass is "dry"—tight, punchy, and free from the "smearing" often found in ported speakers. The 8.25" long-throw composite sandwich woofer works in perfect symmetry with the sealed enclosure to provide a fast transient response, allowing you to hear the exact start and stop of every kick drum and bass note.

Mathematically Modeled Dispersion™ (MMD™):

The alloy fabric dome tweeter is integrated into an elliptical MMD™ waveguide. This technology provides a smooth off-axis response and a wide horizontal sweet spot, giving you freedom of movement across the mixing desk. Simultaneously, it maintains narrow vertical dispersion to reduce unwanted reflections from the console surface, ensuring that what you hear is the direct sound from the monitor, not the room's interference.

Powerful Tri-Amplification & Protection:

The KH 310 A features three independent Class AB amplifiers (150W LF / 70W MF / 70W HF) with high headroom to handle demanding peaks without clipping. To ensure long-term reliability in professional environments, each driver is protected by separate, fast-acting thermal limiters. The hardware is hand-aligned during final testing, meaning any KH 310 is "pair-matched" to any other for a perfectly balanced stereo image.
