Clarett+ Preamps with All-Analogue Air:

The two onboard preamps are the highlight of the Clarett+ 2Pre. They feature a high-headroom design that can handle even the most powerful pickups and sensitive microphones. The All-Analogue Air mode uses an impedance-switching circuit to emulate the sound of the classic Focusrite ISA 110 console transformer, adding a high-end "sheen" and presence to vocals and acoustic instruments during tracking.

Exceptional Converter Performance:

Focal-point recording requires high dynamic range, and the Clarett+ 2Pre delivers with a 124dB dynamic range on the D-A side. This allows for extremely accurate monitoring, helping you hear every nuance of your mix. The improved A-D conversion ensures that your signals remain clean and transparent, with ultra-low distortion that rivals interfaces costing significantly more.

Expandability and Software Control:

While compact, this interface is ready to grow with your studio. The ADAT optical input allows you to add 8 additional channels via an external mic pre (like the Clarett+ OctoPre). It also includes a comprehensive software bundle (the Hitmaker Expansion) featuring plug-ins from Antares, Softube, and Brainworx, plus the Focusrite Control app for easy routing and monitor mixing from your Mac, PC, or iOS device.
