Eight Iconic Clarett+ Preamps:

Each of the eight preamps is designed with a high-headroom, low-distortion architecture to capture instruments exactly as they sound. The All-Analogue Air mode is a relay-controlled circuit that switches the preamp's impedance to 2.2kΩ, emulating the character of the classic Focusrite ISA 110. This adds a subtle, high-frequency lift that brings air and presence to acoustic recordings without digital artifacts.

Massive I/O and Expandability:

For the producer who needs more, the 8Pre provides a path for growth. Beyond its eight analog inputs, it features ADAT optical input and output, allowing you to add 8 more channels using an external preamp like the Clarett+ OctoPre. It also includes S/PDIF I/O, MIDI I/O, and Word Clock output for rock-solid synchronization with other digital studio hardware.

Precision Monitoring and Software:

With ten balanced outputs, the 8Pre can easily handle multi-monitor setups or outboard processing loops. It comes bundled with the Hitmaker Expansion, which includes professional-grade software like Antares Auto-Tune Access, Brainworx bx_console Focusrite SC, and the Red 2 & Red 3 Plug-in Suite, giving you a complete "studio in a box" starting point.
