Massive Oscillator and Filter Architecture:

At the core of the Bass Station II are two discrete analog oscillators with square, sawtooth, triangle, and variable pulse-width waveforms, complemented by a dedicated Sub-Oscillator for foundational low-frequency weight. The sound is shaped by two distinct filter designs: the "Classic" filter provides clean, switchable low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass characteristics, while the aggressive "Acid" filter features a 24dB/octave diode-ladder design that screams when pushed into self-oscillation.

Deep Modulation and Paraphonic Play:

With its unique firmware upgrades, the synthesizer supports paraphonic mode, allowing you to play the two main oscillators independently for dual-note harmonies. The deep modulation architecture includes two LFOs with four waveforms and two ADSR envelopes for precise volume and filter mapping. Additionally, the AFX Mode lets you assign completely different synth parameters to every single key, transforming the keyboard into an expressive sound-design drum machine or morphing live performance rig.

Sequencing, Effects, and Layout:

The hardware features a built-in pattern-based step sequencer and arpeggiator with editable rhythms, permitting you to map out driving baseline ideas instantly. It includes built-in analog Distortion and Filter Mod (FM) effects to add harmonization and grit to your tones. The 25-key velocity-sensitive keybed with assignable aftertouch gives it an incredibly expressive playing feel, while full MIDI via USB and 5-pin DIN ports ensures it links seamlessly with your DAW or vintage hardware setup.
