The core of the Novation Peak relies on its cutting-edge Numerically Controlled Oxford Oscillators (NCOs). Operating at an ultra-high resolution (24MHz), these digital oscillators generate completely alias-free classic waveforms (sawtooth, square, triangle) alongside 60 digital wavetables for complex, modern textures. This digital clarity is fed immediately into a 100% analog signal path, featuring pre- and post-filter analog distortions and a flexible multimode resonant analog filter for classic hardware grit.

Deep Modulation and Custom Expression:

Designed for intensive sound design, the synth boasts a 16-slot modulation matrix and three ADSR envelopes per voice, alongside two multi-waveform LFOs. Dedicated front-panel controls allow for immediate cross-modulation (FM) between the oscillators, ring modulation, and noise generation. The hardware also features unique Animate buttons that let you instantly warp parameters on stage, adding expressive variation to your live arrangements.

Studio Integration and On-Board Effects:

The Peak acts as an excellent studio hub, featuring full 5-pin MIDI In, Out, and Thru ports, plus a dedicated CV (Control Voltage) clock input to sync with Eurorack modular gear. It houses high-quality built-in digital Reverb, Delay, and Chorus effects that run parallel to the analog signal path to keep your core tone pristine. Using the Novation Components software, you can manage patch libraries and load custom user wavetables directly onto the hardware.
