The soul-stirring analog mojo of the TF47 is built from a carefully curated selection of premium hardware components. At its acoustic source is a custom-engineered, gold-sputtered, dual-sided K47-style center-terminated capsule. This capsule design provides identical, highly symmetric polar patterns with linear off-axis frequency tracking.
The capsule feeds directly into an American-made, old-stock 5840W vacuum tube, a premium subminiature valve celebrated for its ultra-low self-noise floor, exceptional stability, and gorgeous harmonic texture. The output stage is anchored by a custom-wound, large-format BV8-style transformer, meticulously modeled after the historic output transformer found inside legendary vintage German tube microphones. This precise hardware coupling gives the TF47 its classic weight, smoothing out harsh digital transients and adding a rich, tape-like density to your audio.
