Instead of routing that capsule into a tube gain stage, Telefunken pairs it with a proprietary, fully discrete Class-A JFET amplifier circuit (inspired by their highly transparent M60 small-diaphragm pencil microphones). This ultra-silent amplifier feeds directly into a premium, custom large-format nickel-iron core output transformer made in the UK by OEP/Carnhill. This meticulous solid-state layout injects immediate weight, sub-bass authority, and rich analog density to the output path, preventing the microphone from ever sounding cold, sterile, or clinical.
