Proprietary Slatefiber Technology:

At the core of the Focal Alpha 50 Evo is the Slatefiber cone, handcrafted in France. This innovative material combines recycled non-woven carbon fibers with a thermoplastic polymer, creating a diaphragm that is incredibly rigid yet lightweight. This results in superior damping and a neutral sound reproduction that reveals the finest details in the lower midrange without adding coloration or unwanted resonance.

Signature Inverted Dome Tweeter:

High frequencies are handled by Focal's renowned aluminum inverted dome tweeter. This design acts like a micro-loudspeaker, offering very low directivity and a wide sweet spot compared to traditional domes. The integrated waveguide ensures incredible spatial dispersion, providing a stable and wide stereo image that is critical for making precise EQ and panning decisions during the mixing process.

Comprehensive Control and Connectivity:

The Alpha 50 Evo is built to adapt to any environment. The rear panel features LF and HF shelving controls (+/-6dB and +/-3dB respectively) to compensate for room acoustics or placement near walls. It also offers the rare ability to connect up to three audio sources simultaneously via XLR, 1/4" TRS, and RCA inputs. A user-selectable auto-standby mode ensures energy efficiency by powering down after 15 minutes of inactivity.
