The Slatefiber Innovation:

The standout feature of the Focal Alpha 65 Evo is its Slatefiber cone, handcrafted in France using recycled non-woven carbon fibers. This material provides the perfect trifecta of rigidity, damping, and lightness. For the user, this translates to a faster transient reaction time and a very tight, controlled bass response that doesn't bleed into the midrange.

Inverted Dome Tweeter & Waveguide:

Focal’s signature aluminum inverted dome tweeter is paired with a specialized waveguide to provide very low directivity and a wide sweet spot. This design ensures that the high frequencies are dispersed evenly throughout the room, creating a stable and precise stereo image. The waveguide specifically helps in maintaining a flat frequency response even when you are not sitting perfectly centered between the monitors.

Modern Integration and Control:

The Alpha 65 Evo is built for the modern professional workflow. It includes three active inputs (XLR, TRS, and RCA), allowing you to have multiple sources connected simultaneously. The rear panel features shelving EQ controls to adjust the low frequencies (+/- 6dB below 250Hz) and high frequencies (+/- 3dB above 4.5kHz). It also includes a disengageable auto-standby mode and threaded inserts for easy wall or ceiling mounting in Atmos or immersive setups.
