The Iconic ISA Sound:

Each of the eight preamps features the all-analog Air mode. When engaged, relay-controlled circuitry switches the input impedance to 2.2kΩ and adds two cumulative high shelves, totaling a 4dB boost. This emulates the legendary Focusrite ISA 110 mic preamp, bringing a smooth, bright sheen and extra clarity to vocals and acoustic instruments.

Advanced Conversion and Dynamic Range:

The Clarett+ OctoPre utilizes independent, high-quality A-D and D-A converters. The improved D-A dynamic range of 124dB allows you to hear your mix with incredible detail, while the ultra-low distortion A-D converters capture the truest version of your sound. This makes it an ideal choice for both tracking and sending audio to external analog processors like EQs and compressors.

Flexible Workflow and Connectivity:

For guitarists, the front panel includes two JFET instrument inputs that preserve the natural tone of your instrument, feeling much like a traditional amplifier. Each channel is equipped with a dedicated TRS insert point, allowing you to keep your favorite outboard gear plugged in and easily switch it into your signal path with a single button press.
