The Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic is engineered to help you capture a polished sound before the signal even hits your DAW. The integrated analog compressors allow you to tame peaks and add musical "glue" to your tracks during recording. Its bidirectional design offers 8 channels of ADAT output (for inputs) and 8 channels of ADAT input (for D-A conversion), effectively doubling the utility of your current interface.

Musical Analog Compression:
Every input channel features a dedicated, single-knob soft-knee VCA compressor. This allows for transparent dynamic control that maintains the natural character of your performance. For more aggressive applications, the "More" button doubles the compression ratio (from 2:1 to 4:1), making it ideal for adding punch to percussion or stabilizing dynamic vocals.
Bidirectional AD/DA Versatility:
This unit acts as a complete digital-to-analog hub. The OctoPre Dynamic features 8 channels of high-quality D-A conversion via its ADAT inputs. You can route these to the 8 balanced line outputs to feed an analog console or external processors, facilitating a modern hybrid workflow.
Professional Performance and Sync:
With high-resolution 24-bit conversion and JetPLL™ jitter elimination, your audio remains detailed and phase-accurate. The unit includes per-channel 5-segment LED metering and switchable 48V Phantom Power, ensuring you have the feedback and power required for professional studio sessions.
