Its cardioid polar pattern provides excellent isolation, minimizing feedback and "bleed" from other instruments on a loud stage.

Instrument-Safe MC 9 Rib Mounting:

The included MC 9 clip is specifically designed to grip the ribs (sides) of acoustic instruments securely. It features a self-adjusting spring mechanism that fits bodies between 85 mm and 132 mm (and includes a reducer for smaller instruments like ukuleles). To protect the instrument's delicate varnish and provide mechanical isolation, the clip is fully lined with a soft-touch rubber coating, ensuring that handling noise does not reach the capsule.

Flexible and Stable Positioning:

The SH 150 gooseneck (150 mm) provides the flexibility to position the capsule at the perfect "sweet spot"—typically near the 12th fret or the bridge. To ensure the microphone stays exactly where you aim it, the holder on the MC 9 clip locks in 45-degree increments. This prevents the gooseneck from sagging or shifting while the musician moves on stage, providing a reliable and repeatable sound for every song.

For wired applications, the included MCM 100 output stage converts the signal to a balanced XLR for direct connection to a mixer using standard phantom power.
