Acoustically Optimized MC 2 String Mount:

The included MC 2 clip is designed to mount the microphone directly to the cello strings below the bridge. This location is favored by professional sound engineers because it captures the most authentic tonal balance without dampening the vibrations of the soundboard. The clip uses a self-adjusting spring mechanism and rubberized contact points to ensure a firm, slip-free grip that is completely safe for your instrument’s finish.

Flexible and Stable Positioning:

The SH 150 gooseneck (150 mm) provides the flexibility to aim the capsule exactly where it’s needed—typically toward the f-holes or the bridge. To ensure the microphone stays perfectly in place during a performance, the holder on the MC 2 clip locks in 45-degree increments.
