It features a new 5.25" high-precision woofer and a 1" alloy fabric dome tweeter housed in a Mathematically Modeled Dispersion™ (MMD) waveguide. The standout addition is the internal DSP engine, which allows the monitor to be perfectly calibrated to your room's unique acoustics using the Neumann MA 1 alignment system. This ensures a phase-linear response and a rock-solid stereo image that simply wasn't possible in previous analog generations.

By utilizing DSP-controlled crossovers, Neumann has eliminated the phase distortion common in traditional analog filters, resulting in a level of clarity and transient detail usually reserved for much larger flagship monitors.

DSP-Powered Room Correction:

Every room has acoustic flaws that "color" what you hear. The KH 120 II features an internal DSP processor that works seamlessly with the Neumann MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment. By measuring your room with the MA 1 microphone, the monitor's internal filters are automatically adjusted to compensate for room modes and reflections. This gives you a "calibrated" listening environment where the low-end is tight and the midrange is perfectly transparent.

Redesigned Class-D Amplification:
