Dual-Driver Authority and Precision:
The KH 870 II utilizes two in-house modeled 10-inch long-throw woofers with Extremely Linear Force Factor™ (ELFF™) technology. This dual-driver arrangement provides a massive surface area, allowing the subwoofer to move a significant volume of air with minimal excursion, resulting in ultra-low harmonic distortion even at high replay levels. The low-frequency response is linear down to 16 Hz, providing a visceral, "dry" bass feel that is essential for tracking and mixing modern low-end-heavy content.
