The MixDream XP Mk2 solves this by routing up to 16 individual channels or 8 stereo stems out of your high-end D/A converters and combining them entirely in the active analog domain. Transitioning to the polished, modern black styling of the SPL Studio Series, the Mk2 generation updates the internal component layout to deliver even wider dynamic rendering and a dead-quiet noise floor, ensuring every instrument retains its dedicated acoustic space.

The electronic core of the MixDream XP Mk2 features a strictly discrete Class-A transistor design running on optimized, internal $\pm$18V DC high-voltage power rails. By completely eliminating mass-produced integrated circuits (ICs) from the primary summing path, it guarantees an uncompromised audio line. The Class-A transistors stay fully conductive at all times, wiping out crossover distortion while providing a massive +28 dBu output ceiling. This enables the unit to process hot transients and deep sub-bass frequencies from high-end converters with zero structural choking or clipping.
Proprietary 60-Ohm Low-Impedance Summing Matrix:
The internal summing bus runs on a specialized 60-$\Omega$ passive-active matrix. Summing multi-track sessions at this ultra-low impedance level allows the MixDream XP Mk2 to achieve exceptional channel separation ($91\text{ dB}$) and an ultra-low residual noise floor ($-97.3\text{ dBu}$).
