Running on an internal plus/minus 60V DC high-voltage rail network—four times the operational ceiling of standard consumer and pro-audio headphone gear—the Phonitor xe achieves an ultra-wide dynamic range. This high-voltage headroom allows the amplifier to handle sudden musical peaks or extreme bass transients without hitting internal compression walls.
