The Magic of Passive LC Circuitry & Hand-Selected Tube Gain:

At the center of the EQP-1 is a passive equalization network built around premium capacitors and custom inductors. Because passive circuits natively attenuate signals to shape curves, Tegeler recovers the gain using an elite all-tube makeup stage driven by high-grade dual-triode valves (such as ECC83 and ECC82) working alongside custom-wound audio transformers.

This combination injects pleasing harmonic saturation and density directly into your path. In fact, the low end becomes instantly more defined and the high frequencies grow pleasantly rounded the moment you pass audio through the active hardware, even with the EQ bands completely disengaged.
