A New Way to Equalize:

The core concept of the Carnaby 500 is saturation-based equalization. Each of its three bands uses a proprietary harmonic engine that responds to the input level. As you boost a band, the circuit generates more harmonics relative to that frequency range, resulting in a sound that feels "bigger" and more "alive" rather than just louder.

Three Interactive Harmonic Bands:

• Low (20Hz - 420Hz): Uses sub-harmonic excitation to add massive low-end weight to kick drums and bass without losing clarity.

• Mid (200Hz - 6.2kHz): Adds "bite" and presence to vocals and guitars, helping them cut through a dense mix with analog grit.

• High (5kHz - 25kHz): Creates a "silky" top end by exciting high frequencies, adding expensive-sounding air to vocals and acoustic instruments.

Precision and Integration:

The Carnaby 500 features stepped encoders for 0.5dB precision, making it easy to recall settings or match two units for stereo use. It also includes an Opto-Sync system, which allows you to link two modules wirelessly using light, ensuring that the controls on the left module automatically sync to the right module for perfect stereo imaging.
