The N22H is the ultimate "studio utility" for engineers and musicians. It solves the common problem of getting high-quality audio to a performer in a different room without signal degradation. By utilizing the C.A.S.T. (Cat 5 Analogue Snake Transport) system, it replaces bulky XLR multicores with affordable network cabling, maintaining a flat frequency response from 0.8Hz to above 250kHz. With its dual power modes and portable design, it is equally at home on a desktop for critical mastering or in a vocal booth for a loud tracking session.

Reference-Grade Headphone Amplification:

The internal amplifier is designed for absolute transparency. With ultra-low distortion (0.0009% THD+N), it reveals the finest details of your mix. The N22H features two carefully calibrated power settings:

• High Power Mode: Optimized for high-impedance, open-back mixing/mastering headphones.

• Low Power Mode: Optimized for maximum battery life when using low-impedance in-ear monitors (IEMs) or closed-back tracking headphones.

Advanced C.A.S.T. Connectivity:

The N22H is a bi-directional hub. You can plug two microphones or instruments into its XLR/TRS combo inputs, and they travel through the Cat 5 cable back to your 500R8 or N8 hub. Simultaneously, the performer receives a pristine stereo monitor mix directly into their headphones. It also supports 48V Phantom Power pass-through, making it compatible with condenser microphones.

Portable and Flexible Powering:

Built for location recording and mobile setups, the N22H can be powered by the included 9V DC supply, a standard guitar pedalboard power supply, or a 9V battery. On battery power, it provides up to 10 hours of use in Low Power mode, allowing you to capture high-fidelity audio in the field where AC power isn't available.
