The New Reference in Electret Technology:

Neumann engineers reimagined the production process for the KK 14, moving away from highly integrated designs to a layered structure. Each of the eight key components is manufactured independently and assembled by hand in Germany. This eliminates the acoustic compromises typical of standard electret mics, resulting in a rich bass/mid-range and a transparent, elegant treble that was previously unreachable in this form factor.

One of the greatest challenges in live sound is managing multiple microphones with varying tonal characters. The KK 14 solves this through extreme precision: every capsule sounds exactly the same.
