Optimized for Close-Range Accuracy:
Standard cardioid microphones often produce an unnatural bass boost (proximity effect) when placed close to the source. The KK 145 nx solves this through a physical, acoustic high-pass filter built into the capsule. It features a natural roll-off starting below 300 Hz. When the capsule is used at a typical close-miking distance of 15 cm (6 inches), the proximity effect naturally fills in the bass, resulting in a perfectly flat, neutral, and broadcast-ready frequency response.
Superior Isolation & Rejection:
The cardioid polar pattern provides excellent attenuation of sound arriving from the rear ($180^{\circ}$), ensuring that the voice or instrument is isolated from room noise, computer fans, or stage bleed.
